Looking to really leave the crowds behind? Our one of a kind guiding program offer’s access to some the most remote terrain in the Northern Sierra via snowcat. Our terrain stretches over 3 different ranger districts and 2 National Forests giving us plenty of areas to choose from. We take pride in custom building our trips for your groups goals and abilities, start by choosing a location, then fill out the form at the bottom of the page. How Does it work?

It’s simple. Meet us at one of our 3 trailhead options, hop into the cat and let us take you deep into the backcountry. Once at our objective for the day we’ll park the snowcat and go hiking from there. At the end of the day we head back to the cat and take the ride back out.

We utilize 3 different trailheads in the following locations: Little Truckee Summit, Bassetts and Graeagle (Gold Lakes). Each location accesses its own unique type of terrain giving us plenty of options. Choose which location works best for you when booking your trip. Not sure where to go? How Far into the backcountry do you actually go?

Most locations are 5-10 miles from the parking lot, cell service is sparse and so are other people. This gives you real sense of remoteness and an experience that wont soon be forgotten.

*Trips require a minimum of 4 and we can handle up to 8. Contact us about private trips and events.

For the 2024/25 season we will only be offering public trips on Fridays and private by request trips Saturday-Monday.
