We are the West Wind Collective; a team of guides, educators and all around fun people. We strive to provide unique and educational experiences in the mountains. We have taken combined decades of experience to put together an outlook on education not currently offered within the industry.

Our team is based in Tahoe, with courses primarily taking place in Lassen National Park. Lassen provides a unique and amazing landscape to get people familiar with working in remote and unfamiliar terrain. In addition to providing specialized avalanche education, we also offer services for production logistics, slope safety and backcountry support.

Our primary focus is providing education to the industry and people that drive our sport. Teams and film crews spend more time in the backcountry riding lines, building jumps and traveling in the mountains than most. We want to make sure that they stay safe and make the right decisions.
