We are the West Wind Collective; a team of guides, educators and all around passionate people. At West Wind we offer snowcat accessed splitboarding and ski touring to some of Northern California’s most remote terrain as well as avalanche safety courses, specialized training, and mountain safety consulting. With combined decades of experience the team has put together an outlook on guiding and education not currently offered within the industry. We don’t consider ourselves a “run of the mill” guiding service, our small group sizes, unique courses and specialized offerings sets us apart from the industry today.
